For the next topic: love songs. The media, I believe, has ruined them. I personally feel that there is a time and place for a good love song, and it’s almost never in pop. All those fast-paced “love songs” you hear on the radio by pop singers around the world aren’t love songs at all. My personal feeling is that love isn’t fast paced and cute sounding, that it is a serious matter, and requires real feeling. Most of those pop singers probably experience puppy love, a kind of love that is happy and giddy, while in truth, even though love is fun and happy, it has a very very serious side to that and the way people portray these songs is silly. Two examples of good love songs in my eye are Nothing Else Matters by Metallica and Every Breath You Take by The Police. Both of these songs take a serious approach about love, a deeper, more meaningful take on it. I feel that the powerful force behind these songs is true love, and shows how comforting, beautiful, and meaningful love can be at its fullest. These songs weren’t made for the money, or for the girls, or for the popularity, though they both became popular. These songs were about the pure energy that we call love, true love. I feel like the music industry is failing, music is being made just for the money and the next record deal. I think that the pop love songs of today are meaningless and don’t strike a nerve in your heart when you listen to it. When listening to a song, you should enter the song, and feel a state of emotion, such as anger, or happiness, or others. This especially counts with a love song, which should have you feeling the love and the seriousness of it. When listening to pop love songs, I find it difficult to get into the feeling, possibly because there may not be any. So now you know about my feelings for these “love” songs. I feel that they are made for money and emotionless. So next time you want to really get into a song and the raw emotion behind it, try listening to a real love song. My hair is very long, and I may get a hair cut very soon, so I am filling in random words to finish this essay.

Kill ‘Em All 

Whether you’ve heard it or not, Kill ‘Em All is Metallica’s first and fastest album. I recommend you hear it immediately. It features Metallica’s fastest songs, usually between 180 to 200 bpm!!! With lightning fast songs like Whiplash, Hit The Lights, and Motorbreath, the bands lightning fast precision and speed will take your breath away. Also featuring arpeggio related solos, this album will always leave you wanting it even faster and louder. Rating: 4.5/5 

Ride The Lightning 

This is personally my favorite album, and a perfect follow-up from Kill ‘Em All. This song has it all, there first soft song, Fade To Black, a song originally supposed to be on their first album, Creeping Death, and the sheer heaviness of songs like Ride The Lightning and Trapped Under Ice. This album is a little toned down from the last album, but I feel it is for the better. Not as fast as their first album, this album makes up for it in pure genius. Rating: 5/5 

Master Of Puppets 

This album took the band in a very much bigger direction, giving the songs much more complex riffs and solos, and also giving the album a very heavier sound. This album gave the metal legend Master of Puppets and added another good instrumental to the collection, Orion. This album is often viewed as an instrumental build-up to the next album, …And Justice For All. This is the first Metallica album without old lead guitarist Dave Mustaine being credited for the riffs. Rating: 4/5 

…And Justice For All 

By far Metallica’s most instrumentally challenging album, …And Justice For All was much more complex than the previous albums. This album released another metal masterpiece, One. This was the pinnacle of Metallica’s instrumental career, but the last album of Metallica’s old ways. The next album was said to be their sell-out album. Rating: 4/5 

The Black Album (Metallica) 

Considered widely to be their sellout album, this album featured mega songs like Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters. This album no longer featured thrash music like previous albums, but more of a heavy metal style. This album was seen as a decline from the overly exhausting guitar heroics of …And Justice For All. This album brought in a much wider audience and eventually brought the band to legendary status. Rating: 3/5

Today, my day was good. I ate a sandwich like I do every day and had a brownie and a fruit roll-up just like usual. I talked to my friends and listened to music on the bus. When I get home I will have dinner at six and go to bed at ten. This weekend I might hang out with my friends, but most likely not. I will most likely repeat this cycle of living till i’m done with school, just to create a whole new cycle. Perfect.

See how boring and bland that was? I don’t want to read about your lame life, unless it involves being  rock star or creating the cure for cancer. I really don’t care. Now im going to blog the pledge of allegiance.
